Athlone Muslim Community meetup with Minister and Gardai

The Muslim community of Athlone and neighbouring town attend a cultural event in a hotel to meet with Local Authorities, Gardai: Brian and  Minister TD Kevin Boxer in the year 2018.

Our new Mosque will be a key anchor in helping us provide guidance to our youth on today’s prevalent issues; such as drug and alcohol abuse, bullying, poor diversity and inclusion, and the prevention of religious extremism. This will also help to build bridges of peace and unity across the wider Athlone community by coming together for the common good.
